43 year old Audu Goyar Chime, an indigene of Plateau state and husband of one of the victims of the bomb blast that rocked the city of Jos on Dec 11th, has recounted how Jumai, his wife of 22 years and mother of his six children got killed during the blast and how he has been faced with the challenge of raising their six children alone.

36 year old Jumai, a fruit seller had gone to Farin Gada, a popular vegetable market to buy cucumber, watermelon and pawpaw which she would hawk around the town to make some money to buy foodstuff to feed her family but was bombed to death after a female suicide bomber blew herself up at the Terminus roundabout. She was killed alongside many others.

Her husband, Audu who spoke withSunday Sun said his wife left behind a one year old baby who he now gives Viju milk in substitute for the mother’s breast milk. He said he was devastated when he got the news of his wife’s death

“I was devastated. If she was sick and died, it would have been easier to bear than to find someone who left home hale and hearty dead in a mortuary about 24 hours later. If I say it has been easy for me to bear, I will be lying. When I went out today, it was to collect drugs from the clinic to help my heart. I cannot think of how I will cater for six children alone. I am a mason. I fend for my family from the proceeds I make from working at construction sites. But lately business has been bad. We do not get much to do. It was this woman that was helping out from the little she makes. She usually bought what we ate on her way back home. The children are also not finding it easy to bear. The little one cries throughout the night because he cannot get breast milk. We now give him the food we eat and supplement it with Viju milk. When he gets up in the night we give him Viju milk again. After whimpering for some time, he sleeps off. I have been hearing about Boko Haram but never thought it will ever come close to me or that I will ever become a victim. We are poor and only going out to look for our own daily bread. If we decide to stay at home, nobody will come to our rescue. So, see what has become of us going to look for our daily bread. My appeal now is that people should assist me with a job. I do not want to remove my children from school. I have three in secondary school and two in primary. The eldest one needs to write his SSCE exams to be able to further his studies. It is only the last one that is yet to start school. I am now looking onto God to assist me. When their mother was alive, she was assisting me with their feeding and schooling but now the future looks bleak. Even though the traders were blamed for going to that market, but my own wife was not selling there. She was just unfortunate to be there at the time of the incident. She has no stall there. There is no way one could have known that danger was lurking at a corner. Govern­ment should know that any gathering can become a target for these evil people. They attack churches and mosques. Can they also blame people for going there? While my family learns to cope with this sad situation in which we have found our­selves, we leave our fate in God’s hand. Just like my son’s name, we believe God’s will be done.” he said.

Christmas Tragedy Secondary school student stabs father in the eye over yuletide clothes

For his inability to provide money for Christmas clothes, a father has had his eye stabbed by his son.

A security man who could not provide Christmas clothes for his 16-year-old son, has lost the use of one of his eyes after the boy stabbed him in a fit of rage. The incident which happened at the family residence at Arowojobe Stree, Oshodi, is raising eyebrows and ending tongues wagging.

The middle aged man who name is given as Anthony, was reported to have pleaded with his son, Ikechi, that times are hard and could not afford to by new clothes for him as well as his two other siblings, arguing that since he is older, he should exercise patience while he gets them for the younger ones.

But this argument, according to one of Ikechi's cousins who witnessed the ugly debacle, Ukachukwu, did not hold water with the young man who insisted on getting new clothes as he wanted to use them for one of his friend's party at a beach in Lagos.

According to Ukachukwu, Anthony explained to Ikechi that he had little money on him as he had not been paid his salary yet. But the boy insisted on getting money for his clothes and locked up the father in the room, refusing to allow him leave for work, accusing his father of hating him.

The  father who works as a security guard in a hotel, got angry at his son's behaviour, got angry and reached for his belt and started flogging him. This incensed Ikechi who picked up a knife andstabbed his father in the eye.

This is how Ukachukwu narrated the incident:

"Ikechi accused his father of hating him and, fed up with his complaints, the man got his belt and began to flog the boy.

As his father continued flogging him, Ikechi reached for a knife and stabbed him straight in the eye. Upon seeing the horror of his deed, Ikechi took his heels.

When I wanted to run off to the police station to report the issue to the police, his mother begged me not to, as it will ‘involve more expenses.

"But I doubt if he will still see with that eye again."

Anthony, who was rushed to the hospital right away is under intensive care, while family members are praying for him to see properly with the eye again.

Calamity Fire wipes out family of 7 in Benue

A mysterious fire outbreak has wiped out a family of seven in Benue State.

It was a tragedy of the greatest proportion when afamily of 7 were burnt to death in a midnightfire that gutted four flats of two bedrooms each at Anyamkor community in Gboko, Benue State.

The fire which was said to have started at about 11.40pm, consumed a man, one Lawani Oye, his wife and five children while other tenants in the other flats lost all their property.

Saturday Sun gathered from eyewitnesses that as soon as the fire started from Oye’s flat, his wife  known popularly as Mama Tunde, was the first to raise the raise the alarm, which prompted other neighbours to rush out of their flats.

One of the neighbours narrated:

"We were jolted out of sleep with the shout from the neighbour’s flat as Mama Tunde was shouting fire! fire!! fire!!!. It was her shout that woke us up and we all rushed out of our flats without evacuating anything."

But before the neighbours could mobilise to tackle the inferno in the absence of fire fighters, the flat had caved in trapping the family who were burnt beyond recognition.

Anothe neighbour said they could not immediately ascertain the cause of the fire but that the  only clue was that the generator was running in the night and by the time they went round after the fire, they saw a lantern near the generating set.

It was gathered that the charred bodies of the de­ceased were left at the premises of the General Hospital, Gboko, be­cause the workers were on strike.

Housemaid, driver, kill employer

In the past few weeks, domestic servants have been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. It started with a nanny in Uganda who was caught on video almost beating a toddler to death.

Then an housemaid in Magado GRA area of Lagos abducted two kids and after a frantic search and public outcry, the kids were found.

Another maid in Abuja, was reported to have strangled her mistress' three year old daughter todeath because her madam stopped her from traveling to the village for the Christmas celebration.

Another of such wickedness has been visited on a prominent lawyer and insurance big shot, one Mrs Ola Adeola, the daughter of a former Chief Justice of Ogun State, Justice Ebenezer Craig, who was reportedly murdered by her housemaid and her driver.

The sordid incident happened at her residence at 108, Omisore Lane, Oniru Estate, where she was found with her throat slashed by her domestic staff.

According to the Nation Newspaper, the maid and driver who perpetrated the act disappeared with some valuables and cash belonging to the woman while her corpse has been deposited at the mortuary.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, confirmed the incident, said two persons had been arrested in connection with the matter.

"The report is true and I can confirm to you that we are fully on it. We have arrested two persons and they are in police custody as investigations kicks off full-swing on the orders of the Commissioner of Police.

In fact, following his order, the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba on Lagos Mainland.

The police are on their toes to arrest the two fleeing suspects in connection to the case and the commissioner has mandated us to get everyone involved arrested for prosecution."

Nana Ama made her film debut in the 2001 movie Kae Da Bi. According to her, her career in acting came about as an accident. A lead character in Kae Da Bi didn’t show up on set, and Nana Ama was asked to fill in. She’s been acting professionally ever since, and she’s become a force to be reckoned with among her peers. She said: "I was not even the person supposed to play that role [as a blind person] in that movie; Selasi Ibrahim was to play that role but could not show up, so the director asked me to try and I sailed through.”

Off-screen, the love life of the bubbly actress is a source of constant rumour and speculation. Nana Ama is currently dating Maxwell Mensah. She’s hinted that she may be tying the knot soon. At the beginning of this year, there were rumours that she had married after a picture of her getting married surfaced online. But it was found out later that it was a picture from a movie set. She was again rumoured to have tied the knot in February 2014, but that wasn’t true either.

In a recent interview, she revealed that she will most likely be getting married next year. Coming from the her own mouth, we can believe that this time it’s really going to happen. So prepare yourself to hear the church bells ring for Nana Ama Mcbrown and Maxwell Mensah.

Nana Ama’s relationships have always been in the public eye. If you recall, she was once dating rapper Okyeame Kwame. Her fans were thrilled that two talented celebs were dating and were hoping to see them marry, but instead they broke up, to the disappointment of many.

She was later thought to have married Nana Wiafe Akenteng, a chief of Hemang in the Ashanti region. The tabloids claimed that she was happily married to Nana Wiafe. Later, she came out to say that she was still single. She explained that she never married Akentang and that the farthest he got with her was the “knocking” stage.

Interestingly, the man she is dating now, Maxwell Mensah, is rumoured to have gone out with songstress Becca, actress Vicky Zugah and controversial musician Mzbel. If the rumours are true, then apparently Maxwell has a taste for women in the entertainment industry. Nevertheless, a careful look at Nana Ama Mcbrown and Maxwell depicts a happy couple.

Another thing to note is that Maxwell Mensah is over ten years younger than Nana Ama. Though some people have criticized Nana Ama for going out with someone she is older than, much older than even, the relationship appears to be none the worse for the age difference.

In Ghana, and for that matter Africa in general, though not written in stone, it is expected that a woman will not date or marry someone older than she is. At worst, she and the man she’s with should be the same age. But looking at Nana Ama and Maxwell, it’s easy to see that relationships can work regardless of who is older. Maturity doesn’t always come with age; a younger person may be more mature than an older person. So all in all, age sometimes doesn’t matter.

Nana Ama and Maxwell have been together for over two years. They deserve credit for working on their relationship. She appears to have finally found the love of her life, and we assume the same can be said for Maxwell.

In the end, love is all that matters.

A few weeks ago, reality TV star Kim Kardashian’s naked photo for Paper magazine surfaced online. As one would expect, she got different reactions from the public. Whilst some mocked and heavily criticized her, others surprisingly liked the idea. One would think that the family would have learnt a lesson from Kim’s pictures, but that didn’t happen. Just last week, her sister Kourtney also went naked (not completely though) for Dujour magazine. What is it with celebrities and naked pictures?

Well in Ghana, guess who tried to break the Internet with a naked photo? It was the Uncle Obama hit singer Deborah Vanessa. She posted naked pictures of herself on her Twitter page. Her actions resulted in a lot of criticism, with people comparing her to Kim Kardashian. Like seriously? TV3 presenter Bridget Otoo’s comments on her photo got Sister Deborah and some of her fans furious. They vented their anger at the presenter.

Why would anybody support a celebrity who posts her nude pictures online in a morally conservative country like Ghana? This is probably a move by Deborah to promote her new single Borla. If indeed this is self-promotion strategy, then it is a rather cheap one. Now you have the Ghanaians laughing at YOU!

I must say, Deborah Vanessa and her brother Wanluv Da Kubolor are something else. A few months ago, Wanluv Da Kubolor also tried to break the Internet. He posted a picture of himself showing his genitals on Twitter. I dare say those two siblings love controversy.

The situation is no different In Nigeria. Controversial musician Maheeda revealed in an interview that she gets the media and the public talking by going nude. We also have Dencia and Afrocandy who are known for stripping.

Gay Rage Homosexual kills sex partner in Abuja hotel room

A suspected gay man in Abuja has been stabbed to death by his sex partner.

A man suspected to be a homosexual, Mohammed Umar, has been arrested by the police for allegedly murdering his gay partner, Mohammed Snu, inside a room of a hotel in Garki, Abuja, over an argument about payment for services rendered.

The police reports that Snu died after he was stabbed multiple times in the ribs with a screw driver by Umar.

The deceased, a regular guest at the hotel, was said to have invited Umar for gay sex, but their romance went sour when he refused to pay his partner for the second round of sex.

A hotel staff told Punch Metro that the two men had sex twice, but Snu allegedly refused to pay for the second round, which led to a scuffle.

"The man had just come back from a mosque where he went for prayers with his partner when we heard a loud noise from his room and a voice saying ‘ya kuri (please, don’t be angry)’.

By the time we forced the door open, we saw Umar standing naked and Snu lying dead on the bed with stab injuries on his body. We immediately called the police and Umar was arrested."

The FCT police later went to the hotel and carried away the corpse of Snu as well arrest the hotel manager.

They also drove away the deceased white Mercedes salon car with Abuja registration number, KUJ 883 AQ, which was parked on the hotel premises.

The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Peter Okechukwu, confirmed the incident, explaining that the deceased invited the suspect to massage him in his hotel room, saying he had pains in his ribs.

"In the course of the massage, Snu asked Umar to undress for sex, and from there, they engaged in a scuffle leading to the stabbing of the deceased by the suspect.

It was the loud noise from their room that attracted the hotel workers.

When our men got to the hotel, we found the deceased and the suspect naked. Investigations have commenced and we will soon know what actually transpired behind the closed door."

The nanny, Juliet, who kidnapped two young boys from their home in Magodo, Lagos On Sunday, December 8, was hired via e-commerce platform, OLX, the family has said.

The boys’ mother, Onajite Esharegharan, responded to an ad for a “humble housemaid” posted by one “Omolade” on the site, Punchreports.

However, further investigations by Pulse show that the ad was posted by an OLX user who identified herself as “Olamide” and “Mrs Olamide” and has been active on the site since June 2014.

A variety of ads bearing the same description have also been posted on OLX by the same user since November 3, 2014 with the numbers 08141681774 and 09038349581 attached.

The latest posting, to which Mrs Esharegharan responded, was made on December 2, and it reads:

“Mrs Olamide is the best in given out housemaid why changing ur maid every month when we have reliable and humble maids for you”

Punch reports further that “Omolade” took Juliet to Mrs Esharegharan’s office after she responded to the ad and the maid was immediately hired.

However, since the disappearance of Juliet and the children, both her number and that of “Mrs Olamide” have been unreachable.

The boys’ mother said:

“She probably deceived the kids that she was taking them to their mum. Her telephone line and that of Omolade have been switched off since yesterday (Sunday).”

“We lodged complaints at the Isheri Police Station and the Department of State Service. The police said it was beyond their capacity, but the DSS promised to track the housemaid down,” she added.

The evil and disgraced nanny who was caught on tape brutally assaulting a toddler in Uganda has pleaded not guilty to child abuse.

In November, Jolly Tumuhiirwe was caught with a hidden camera forcefully feeding a baby before throwing her on the floor. She was seen brutally kicking and hitting the baby in the video which caused great uproar on the internet.

Jolly was charged to court and at a sitting on Monday, December 8 pleaded guilty to the child abuse charge brought up against her.  According to Daily Star, Jolly Tumuhirwe was in court with her mum who joined her to plead for forgiveness from the toddler’s parents.

BBC reports that the victim’s father, Eric Kamanzi, broke down in court as the proceedings were on-going.

Her sentencing was adjourned to tomorrow, Wednesday, December 10. Jolly faces up to 15 years in prison for the crime or a fine of about $400 (£260) or both.

Maybe she was trying to save the situation, but denying it never helped. The fact of the matter is that relationships and marriages can be hard. Maybe Jackie is being tight-lipped about her relationship with Bobby Obodo due to the fact that her first marriage didn’t work. Senior officials of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were reportedly forced to escape from their offices when the party’s secretariat was besieged by angry members.

The protesters, who were said to be against the party's governorship candidate for Rivers State and former Minister of State for Education,Nyesom Wike invaded the PDP office with a coffin on Wednesday, December 3.

According to Sahara Reporters, the protesters ordered some PDP officials to leave and even warned the party’s women leader, Kema Chikwe to leave the premises or risk being beaten up.

The protesters also reportedly sang war songs and blocked the entrance to the secretariat with a canopy.

The demonstrators were later dispersed by police officers and five of them were arrested.

The Jigawa State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), is sure not leaving any stone unturned to make the city a crime free state with the rate at which they are nabbing criminals. The recent arrest of a 36-year-old serial rapist, Ahmed Sule, for allegedlyraping a 9-year-old girl in the Kuden Gabas village of Dutse local government area of the state is drawing a lot of commendation.

According to the state Commandant of the NSCDC, Dr Mouhammad Gidado Fari, his officers arrested the accused person said to be living in the same village with the victim and on investigation, it was realised that it was not the first time he has been defiling young girls before the long arm of the law caught up with him.

The suspect has been charged to court while the case has been scheduled for hearing on December 4, 2014

Busted Robbery Suspect arrested while driving stolen car

A car robbery suspect, Saheed Oyedare, has been arrested by men of the police while driving a stolen car in the Badagry area of Lagos.

Police attached to the Federal Highway Patrol, Agbara, nabbed Saheed while he was driving a stolen ford salon car marked FST 598 XL at the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.

Two other occupants of the car were also arrested alongside Saheed Oyedare.

According to Punch, the suspects have confessed that they snatched the ford salon car from a man at the Lagos Island on Wednesday, November 5.

They will be charged to court after investigations have been concluded by the police.

A cousin of Nollywood actress, Stephanie Okerekehas been reportedly arrested for raping a 300 Level female student of the University of Lagos. The student named Arionla alleged that Prince Daniel Okereke raped her at his Mende home on Thursday, November 6.

Arionla, 22, told Sun that she and Prince Daniel became friends after meeting through an online dating website.

“We became friends online and I gave him my number. He kept calling, requesting to see me in school and I kept giv­ing him one excuse or the other. He actually said that he wanted me to be his friend and I declined that I am a student and should be allowed to face my studies,” Arinola toldSun.

On that fateful day, Arionla said Prince Daniel called to inform her that he was in the school premises. Arionla said she told Prince that she was sick and he volunteered to drive her to the pharmacy to get drugs, a gesture that got her impressed. After buying the drugs, they drove to a fast food joint to grab a meal, but Prince Daniel asked her to join him to a sit out joint where she could relax to eat her meal only to drive her to his house in Mende, Maryland.

According to what Arionla told Sun,  the suspect, Prince Daniel Okereke, lured her into his home and subdued her with the aid of his security guard before pouncing on her and raping her severely.

“When we got to his house, I told him that I was not interested in having sex with him, he called two of his security guards to help him to tie me up and seal my mouth. He then brought out his belt and started flogging me,” Arionla narrated to Sun.

After several rape sessions which lasted for more than 30 minutes, Arionla revealed that Prince Daniel ordered her to pick her bags and get out of the house. Angry and bitter about her ordeal, Arionla said she started destroying the properties in his house.

According to the report,  angry neighbours of Prince Daniel who were not aware of what led to her destroying properties in the compound including a car, called the police from the Area F, Ikeja who arrested her for assault. With her statement to the police coupled with the bruises on her boy as evidence, a case of attempted rape was established and Prince Daniel was arrested but later released on bail while Arinola was admitted to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.

Suspecting that the case might be swept under the carpet due to Prince Daniel's connections- he is also the cousin of former DG of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Ndi Okereke-Onyuike- Arinola and her family reported the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Panti who rearrested Prince Daniel Okereke.

According to the Sun report, 37-year old Prince Daniel Okereke has admitted to the crime and blamed the devil for the act.

“I am so ashamed of myself. We are family of professionals whom you know very well. I don’t know what got into my head. I am sorry and plead for forgive­ness,” Daniel pleaded.

Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command, Kenneth Nwosu, has confirmed the case and also revealed that the autopsy report from the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, established that there was an actual penetration in the course of the scuffle.

Prince Daniel alongside one his security men, Idris Abubakar, who aided him in the rape crime have also been arraigned before a Yaba Chief Magistrate’s Court. They were hit with a five count charge bordering on conspiracy, assault, rape and threat to life.

A man, Ge Yifeng has been arrested after admitting to killing his wife in China.

Ge Yifeng and his wife, Chen, both 24, got married recently but Chen chose to live with her parents in Huangcun, County, Anhui. Two months into their marriage, after series of disagreements and clashes, the couple got in an argument in the car which led to Ge stabbing his wife multiple times with a pair of scissors and also hitting her with a hammer.

The 24-year-old Ge Yifeng was arrested on charges of murder as it was also revealed that after killing his wife, he sent photos of her dead body to her family, friends and relatives to reveal the news of the death to them. After Yifeng killed Chen, he called her family and friends and told them what had happened. They did not believe him, so as evidence, he sent them photos of her body.

After surrendering to the police, Yifeng confessed to the crime, and said that he could not get along with his mother-in-law, who told him that he was not worthy of her daughter.

He added that he was extremely unhappy living with his wife’s family. Yifeng said that before they got married, they both agreed to move in together. However, after their wedding, she suddenly changed her mind and wanted to go to Beijing, to live with her family.

It seems somewhat crazy to me that someone of Emmanuel Adebayor’s standing would truly believe that his mom and siblings are plotting ‘juju’ against him, but that’s the drama that unfolded on Peace FM this morning.

Relatives of the Tottenham Hotspur forward, who just yesterday lined up for Togo against his adopted country, called into Peace FM this morning with some pretty wild allegations of neglect against the lanky forward.

They included two of his sisters; Margaret and Lucia Adebayor.

According to the two the Togo captain has neglected them, along with their mother, for the past six years. They have kept it quiet but are now fed up to the extent that they feel that they must tell their story to the public.

“For the past six years Adebayor has rejected his mother and his immediate family whilst doing charity outside on the premise that our mother is a witch.

“We have been thinking of his future as a footballer and did not want this issue out in the media but it is becoming too much.” Margaret, the elder sister, told the Accra based radio station.

Margaret went on to say Adebayor ordered his ‘machomen’ to sack his mom and siblings from his house in Togo, claiming his mom is a witch. She said their mom remains distraught over the issue and Adebayor never picks their calls.

“For the past six years he has abandoned his responsibilities towards the family and does charity work instead. But as far as I know charity begins at home.” She added emphatically.

The Togolese forward was contacted for his side of the story, and he confirmed his issues with his family, as well as his firm belief that they were plotting against him with ‘juju’.

“I never sacked my mom from the house, she decided to leave the house… But how am I going to be in touch with my mum if my mum is the one telling everyone that my work will not go forward?”

I am a little bit surprised by this news, as his sister raises a valid point about charity beginning at home. I am even more surprised that Adebayor is certainly convinced that they are plotting ‘juju’ against him, and that is the main reason for his aloofness towards them.

You would think he would be more upset about the extravagance he hinted at in relation to the house and car, but as most Africans he has gone straight to allegations of witchcraft. I don’t think in this day and age that is a valid reason for someone to neglect their mom, particular someone with the resources and fame available to Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor.

“Nadia is a solid, down-to earth woman,” Jim said. “I’m a man that translates variables in ways many people find incomprehensible. We have embraced who we are and learnt to create our own world and expectations.

“We have ups and downs like every other couple. We have our strength and weakness as well. At the end of the day, rumours of break ups and make-ups ought to abound. It really doesn’t matter. A relationship is a continuous work. Those that give up were perhaps not committed enough.

“Those that go in for the long haul suck up and square up to the variables life throws at them. The people that judge harshly are obviously the ones that live far from their desired lives. We just live the best way we know how and leave the rest to the author and finisher of all things.”

Jim Iyke proposed to Nadia Buari on his reality show “Jim Iyke Unscripted” last July. Rumours later abounded that the acting power couple had called off the relationship. Some even suggested that the proposal had just been...well, scripted. But pictures on social media seemed to confirm that they were still a couple, and in this latest interview, Jim leaves no doubt.

But that is Jim’s side of the relationship.  Now, we’d love to hear from Nadia on her side. During an interview at the premiere of her movie The Diary Of Imogen Brown, she referred to Jim as Mr. Iyke. This got people asking the question why she would refer to  her boyfriend as Mr. Iyke?  This seems to be nothing more than people reading too much into nothing at all, especially the Entertainment press constantly sniffing around for any sign of something new to report on the lives of celebrities.

Relationships are hard, especially when they involve people who are constantly in the public eye. One rule, however, applies regardless of who is involved: it takes commitment from two people to have a great relationship. Instead of gossiping about if Jim Iyke and Nadia Buari had called off their engagement, perhaps we should have been learning something from the example they set.

Ice Prince Finally Reveals He Dated Yvonne Nelson

From her fashion taste to trips abroad to producing her own movies to having her own boutique, Yvonne Nelson surely knows how to keep herself relevant in the showbiz industry.

And she makes sure to update her fans with pictures on her social media pages. 

But another thing that keeps the actress in the headlines is her relationships. Remember when Yvonne Nelson was dating Nigerian singer Iyanya? Anytime a question on the status of their relationship was put to her, she would say they were just friends. It was only after the relationship had gone sour that she told her fans that Iyanya had actually been her boyfriend. 

Soon after, she was constantly seen in public with Ice Prince, another Nigerian rapper. As you would have, people wanted to know if she had found consolation in Ice Prince. Surprisingly, she used the same “friendship” line again. She even went further with Ice Prince by featuring him in her movie House of Gold. This got people talking, but Yvonne never confirmed the status of their friendship

Well, guess who let the cat out of the bag this time?  Ice Prince himself. The rapper has confirmed that the two had something going. He said the relationship didn’t last because Yvonne Nelson was such a busy person. 

He said this to Olisa on The Truth: “It just didn’t work. She’s a very very busy person. She was busier than I was at the time    ice Prince and fashion designer Yvonne Nwosu Olisa also asked Ice Prince about his relationship with Nigerian fashion designer and celebrity stylist Yvonne Nwosu, and he again said they had parted ways because she was also a busy person. It appears Ice Prince is into Yvonnes. So there you have it! Ice Prince and Yvonne Nelson dated! The rapper has cleared the air. We hope Miss Nelson will take a cue from Ice Prince and confirm if they indeed had a relationship Yvonne Nelson and her supposed new man John at the 4syte Music Video Awards

The actress was spotted last weekend, November 15, at the 4syte Music Video awards with another man. She was put on the spot by Bola Ray, the MC for the night. Whilst Miss Nelson was presenting an award, Bola Ray asked her about the guy she came with. And guess what she said? She didn’t say a thing. So does that tell us something that she didn’t say he’s “just a friend”? When asked, the guy gave his name as John. All he could reveal was that he came to the show with Yvonne Nelson. But another thing to take note of is the fact the guy is not Ghanaian. He is an Ivorian. Hmmmmm  for all the Ghanaian guys out there who are interested in the screen goddess, just forget it. Her taste for foreign “goods” is way over the top. From Iyanya to Ice Prince to……. Even though she didn’t say anything as to whether she was going out with John (the Ivorian), her silence is rather making us think otherwise. You know she is always quiet on her relationships, especially when she’s seen in public with a guy. Well, there is nothing wrong with having different tastes when it comes to choosing a partner as long as you are satisfied with what you see in that person. Perhaps her choice is accidental; maybe it’s never been her intention to date only foreigners, but the fact that she is always travelling probably plays a major role in the type of guys she meets. But whatever the situation, it’s Yvonne’s life. Do whatever rocks your boat, Yvonne!

Boko Haram Strikes Again In Borno, 45 Feared Dead

Reports coming in Borno state is that the Boko Haram Insurgents have killed no fewer than 45 persons in a recent attack on Azaya Kura village of the state which occurred on Wednesday.
Vanguard report that the suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked the village, located in Mafa local local government area of Borno State, at about 12:00 pm (1100 GMT) on Wednesday as villagers were at work.
The Insurgents who reportedly stormed the village in trucks attacked the residents, as they destroyed their houses, took along with them motorcycles, foodstuff, livestock, residents lament.
Jabir Usman, a local farmer, who said he managed to escape the attack, told reporters in Maiduguri that aside the 45 persons feared dead, some others  have also died in the bushes due to excessive bleeding after sustaining bullet injuries”.
There are also reports that some are still missing.
Shettima Lawan, who is the caretaker chairman of Mafa local government area, has lamented the havoc the Boko Haram sect have caused, as he called on the Federal Government to come to act fast and put to an end to the incessant attacks and killings.
