How I became the First Nigerian to Grace the Cover of Vogue USA

This is a sponsored post...
Kunle and I have been dating 3 years and we have pretty much done all there is to do in the gifting department – mushy gifts, expensive gifts, playful gifts, intimate gifts, every type of gift, really. So, in full consideration of these unfriendly economic times, we discussed how we would tighten our belts and save towards our future, rather than spend ridiculous amounts of money on frivolous gifts.

So on my birthday I was not expecting much since we would be having dinner later in the evening. You can therefore imagine how pleasantly surprised I was when I received a package at work from the boo. The first thing that caught my attention was the beautiful packaging and the name www fairysisters.com. I said to myself what a funny name. I pulled the card out of the envelope and there it was me Ada ojo looking fabulous on the cover of vogue magazine.
Kunle never forgot my vain dreams of being on American vogue and decided to make it a reality via a FairySisters novelty greeting card. Needless to say that the words inside were so personal to us I kept remembering them all day.

Oh, also in the package was a mug which I immediately used to make my morning coffee. You can imagine my shock when I poured hot water and our favourite picture showed up on it. Amazing !! One minute it was a black mug the next a lover’s keepsake
Needless to say that my vogue card and mug are occupying pride of place on my office desk and they will stay there forever just like the love between Kunle and I.
